King's Award for Voluntary Service

A message from the Ian Sharp, Chairman of KentARA (November 2025):

I am pleased to announce that KentARA have been graciously awarded the Kings Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS) (MBE) for all the hard work that has been put in by all 76 Club Committees and the KentARA Committee. You may now put the KAVS logo on all of your documentation and newsletters, headed note paper etc.

A lot of hard work from all ARAs over the years has contributed to this award and the Executive Committee would like to thank you all.

​

The award is for life and will not be taken away, it is equivalent to an MBE.
